This Carkeek 40 is now available in two versions to suit different budgets.

The Carkeek 40 ‘GP’ is available with a base boat price of $556,000, including full unidirectional pre-preg carbon/epoxy/Nomex construction, high modulus spars, full EC-6 rigging, and carbon running backstays with hydrauli actuated deflectors as standard.

In addition to the GP we have now developed a ‘Race’ version, the Carkeek 40R, which offers the same grand prix hullform and on-the-water performance, but at a lower price. The Carkeek 40R has an infused carbon/epoxy/foam construction, with high modulus spars as standard and comes with a similar list of options, but with a base price of $456,500. The HPR rating procedure accounts for differences in construction type, construction materials, VCG, making the ‘Race’ version an attractive prospect.

Whilst the Carkeek 40 is a racing yacht optimised to HPR, we have also developed an IRC mode for owners interested in dual purpose racing.
