Carkeek 40 Decision leads Inaugural Islands in the Stream Series

Steven Murray’s Carkeek 40 Decision holds a four-point edge atop the standings at the mid-point of the Inaugural Islands in the Stream Series, a four-event series organized by SORC.

Decision swept the top of the standings for both the Nassau Cup Ocean Race and the Wirth M. Munroe Palm Beach Race. They charged to Victory ahead of a strong fleet including the 72 Bella Mente and the IRC 44 Interlodge.

The Fort Lauderdale to Key West Race in January is next, and the pace of entries indicates that it could be a very large and competitive fleet for the trip down to Key West.

The series wraps up in February, with the Inaugural Miami to Havana Race on February 10, 2016, hosted by Coral Reef Yacht Club. Entries are pouring in for the final race of the series, with the right to be the first overall winner of the series at stake, not to mention the change to be the original course record holder.
